About Annie

I'd describe my personality as kind, dedicated, compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping others, and I enjoy the company of others. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide service to others while also providing friendship and maintaining my own independence. I started caring for seniors when I retired from my full-time career as a Microbiology technician, and after my husband passed in 2016. In my spare time, I like to read, watch my favorite TV shows, participate in my church and Bible study, and play with my two granddaughters. One thing you should know about me is I am an experienced, compassionate companion who has worked for the last 5 years caring for someone whom I now consider a friend. I enjoy being of service to others and find fulfillment in providing needed care and companionship. My skills include providing company and a listening ear, transportation, helping with light housework as well as medication management.
