About April

Hi! I'm April. I am in the process of getting a minor in Early Childhood Education and a major in Environmental Science. I have taught swim lessons for 4 years and was a teaching assistant in a Montessori this past year. I also have prior experience with babysitting and am CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard, and WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certified. Unfortunately, I am only in New Paltz until January but am willing to work frequent afternoon hours while I am here! I will be back in late May and may also have the ability in the summer/spring. I worked with kiddos at an environmental education center this summer, so I have plenty of ideas for crafts and games to keep the kids busy! In general, I am very passionate and enthusiastic about working with kids :) Thank you for your consideration. Hope to hear back soon!
