I'd describe my personality as responsible, compassionate, and trustworthy. I like working with kids because kids are so often misunderstood. I like to listen to and attend to what the kids need by being empathetic and kind. I deeply respect kids and everything that makes them unique, and like to be an adult figure to model responsibility, empathy, and kindness. I strive to be a positive role model to children and to make them feel comfortable and happy with who they are and to enjoy the little things. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, and roller skate. I am a caricature artist and have created commission work for books, portraits, and merchandise. To stay active I love to roller skate outdoors. I am happily engaged and live with my fiancé and our four cats and hamster. I am a patient caregiver and intend to provide a safe environment for children to feel comfortable and secure. Through effective communication and empathy I hope to support the child's needs.
