I am a mother of two beautiful daughters 24 and 21 years of age. My 21-year-old daughter has been a type one diabetic since she was 3 years old, with that being said , there were very trying times to say the least... Lack of sleep having to endure seeing my daughter in pain with giving her 11 shots a day having my then 3-year-old be jealous of her sister because of all the time that was spent on her, you'll learn to put yourself last to give your all because that's what I believe a mother should do.. they are grown girls now who I am so very proud of because of the unconditional love, the nurturing, the praise & time spent with each of them and then together.. The most rewarding and best job in the world to me is being " Their Mom ", and I thank them every day for letting me be their mom, and I love every child as they all have something different to embrace & flourish... They are our future after all !
