About Aria

Hello! My name is Aria, and I am looking to provide a fun and safe environment for children who need care. I have 2. 5 years of experience working at the Kids' Safari before-and after-school program for Public Schools, where I would lead activities with upwards of 16 kids at a time. I connected with many of the children there and worked to make a fun and supportive environment, but I also learned quickly that children need compassionate but strong discipline. While discipline is important, I know most behaviors stem from other issues, and children need someone who will be willing to meet them at their level and sympathize with whatever they are dealing with rather than someone who gets angry and punishes them. I am a transgender woman. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I understand not everyone has experience with trans people and might be curious.
