About Ariel

Hi there! My name is Ariel and I'm hoping to be the special helping hand that you're looking for. Originally from Chicago, I started babysitting at 16 and for the past 10 years I have worked in a multitude of environments ranging from special needs children, to rambunctious boys, to older children just needing a watchful eye. I have a theater background and studied acting at The New School in NYC. Currently I am studying to return to school for nursing with a focus in psychoneuroimmunology (the relationship between our nervous system & mental health). In my nannying technique I value encouraging self expression, movement, creativity, self regulating practices and limited screen time! I love to engage kids in fun, imaginative activities and I love going outside, being in nature and being active. I'm CPR and first- aid certified and DEI certified (diversity, equity and inclusion). In my spare time I'm volunteering, reading, camping, or fostering animals!
