About Ariel

I am the mother of two young boys and a certified Montessori teacher. We love to be outside and live on 4 acres of land that abuts an 80 acre nature preserve with a network of trails. We would love to invite your child to explore nature with us at our house and property, and to engage in free-play, crafts, and exploration with language, numbers and colors, both indoors and outdoors. I am a confident and gentle leader and a follower of Janet Lansbury's Respectful Parenting methods. I was the lead teacher at an outdoor school for children ages 2-8 in the 2022/23 school year and an elementary Montessori teacher for the 2021/22 school year. Before having children of my own I was also a ski coach to young children and an after school and substitute teacher at a Montessori school. I also have many years of babysitting experience.
