The first experience I had with care giving for children was being a helping hand for a mother of three. Once I became babysitting certified along with being CPR certified I expanded how much I worked with kids. After taking small babysitting jobs for a while I spent three summers (over 35 weeks) working at a daycare caring for children six months to nine years of age. While there I occasionally worked with sick children and special needs children, so I do have experience in regards to that as well. Currently I work at an program (until the end of the month) with children ranging from pre school age to fifth grade. Overall I have spent many years caring for children of many different ages.
