About Arlene

Hi, I am a 22-year-old ER nurse at Inova Fairfax. I have been working with kids since I was 15 and have always been very passionate about it. This past summer after graduation I was an Au Pair for a family with a 5 and 7-year-old in Spain for 3 months. Two summers ago I babysat 18-month-old twins and a family with a 6 and 4-year-old and 6-month-old. This, in addition to working at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, has given me ample experience with kids of all ages. I have grown up in a family that does and loves all things outdoors, so if it's nice outside I like to take the kids out for some fresh air and fun. If the weather is not so great, I am an excellent fort builder and hide and seek player. My talents are adaptable and I enjoy exploring whatever interests the kids have. I am an outgoing, empathetic, and responsible caregiver. I am eager to make this summer (and early spring) safe and memorable. I look forward to meeting you and your family :)
