About Ashley

I recently decided to pursue homeschooling for my 7-year-old daughter and I would love to provide part time care and education for your pre-k through school age child. I have over 18 years of experience working with children of all ages. My experience includes working in licensed childcare, starting as a floater in my late teens, then assistant teacher, and lead teacher once I finished my degree in early childhood. I have also worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher in a licensed facility. I have worked several years in public education as a first grade and kindergarten teachers aide, I am currently a kindergarten teachers aide. In my years of teaching I have created countless lesson plans, implemented them, and watched my students master the skills I have taught them. I believe children learn through play and creativity. However, a safe and structured environment is crucial for them.
