I cannot express how grateful I am for Ashley. I had a surgery scheduled early Friday morning at 6am, and the clinic made it clear that without someone to drive me, they wouldn’t be able to perform the procedure. Being new to the area, I didn’t know anyone who could help, so I posted a job on Care.com hoping to find a caregiver who could take me and bring me home afterward. One caregiver initially agreed, but on the morning of my surgery she canceled, leaving me completely lost and stressed. I messaged several caregivers last minute and started driving myself to the appointment, hoping I could find someone to pick me up later. While I was on the road, Ashley called me and said she was available. She was calm, reassuring, and incredibly kind from the very first moment. I gave the clinic her information when I arrived, and after my surgery I learned she had shown up early to pick me up. I was so relieved and thankful to see her there. She drove me home safely when I was in no condition to drive, and when I asked if she could help me again on Monday to pick up my car from the clinic, she didn’t hesitate. She showed up exactly when she said she would and took me to get my car without any issue. Ashley is reliable, compassionate, patient, and truly committed to helping others. After this experience, I know I have someone I can count on. She turned a stressful, uncertain situation into one where I felt supported and safe. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable caregiver.
