About Ashley

I have always loved to care for people. When I was in the fifth grade, my mother started teaching me how to babysit children. I started babysitting my brother and neighbor's daughter when I was in the seventh grade. I helped them with their homework, cooked for them, and entertained them. Ever since my grandmother had her first stroke, I have taken care of her. I dress her, bathe her, do her hair, cook, read to her, and work her out to keep the mobility that she does have. While in high school, I took a health occupation class, where I was CPR certified and a First Aid medic. I then worked in the hospital as a student trainee in respiratory therapy, surgery and labor and delivery. I enjoy taking care of people because it helps to make me a better person, and also it is preparing me as a better doctor, so that I can always play an important part in someone's life. I want to impact people in a great way, by caring for people with a smile and compassion. Because of the way I care for them, they will pass along the same compassionate care. I hope to change the world, one person at a time.
