About Ashley

I have a year's worth of work experience as a teacher in early childhood education, namely with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and mentored young children and teens as a yoga instructor and camp counselor. I have tutored students privately and assisted them with homework afterschool. As for the arts, I was classically trained in dance at a young age having studied the Vaganova method of ballet at the age of 8 years old and vocal performance. I attended a prestigious high school conservatory program for Musical Theatre and enjoy getting to share my love for the arts to kids and teens as I think it is highly therapeutic and an excellent form of self expression, especially for children with special needs or those who struggle with self esteem. I enjoy incorporating movement, yoga, dance, and music into my practice with children as I believe it helps fosters creativity, individuality, and confidence for healthy social-emotional development.
