About Ashley

I am a highly experienced, patient, nurturing, fun childcare provider. I have spent over five years as a teacher, working with ages 8 months through four years. I have spent a great deal of time with older children and infants as well. Two years ago, I was the lead 3-year-old teacher at a farm preschool. I have taken many child development workshops and classes throughout my career. I am currently First aid, CPR, water safety certified and have an associates degree in Early Elementary Education. I am looking to transition from group care to focusing more attention on individual needs and whole child development. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with children in many forms such as creating works of art, exploring new places, singing/dancing, reading, storytelling and playing games/pretend. Knowing that babies and children are constantly learning, I am passionate about creating and introducing enriching activities that empower and challenge children to grow, think and create.
