My name is Ashley, I love kids and animals, I even have two kiddos of my own (7 and 9), plus five cats, and a dog! I began volunteering to care for kids close to 20 years ago, but I only started getting paid for it about 10 years ago! I never knew I could have so much fun "working", kids really have a way of teaching you about life! I really enjoy baking, crafts, adventures, reading, games, and swimming! If you want a nerdy gal with tons of knowledge about Star Trek, Doctor Who, Fairytales, Mythology etc, I am that gal! I am warm, kind, empathetic, honest, patient, yet firm with kids! All the kids I watch are like my own! I believe in safety (bike helmets, safety belts, shoes outside), as well as healthy habits (carrots, outside play, bedtimes), I am also a responsive parent, so I believe in solving problems cognatively, not physically!
