About Ashley
Experience: 3 yrs
For 10 years, I have been working with kids from 6 months to 15 years old. I have experience babysitting, working in childcare, and substitute teaching and tutoring in FCPS schools. Kids and parents love me because I'm patient, adaptable, positive and fun. I like to change my approach based on the child, so I tend to succeed in building positive relationships with them. I have experience working in customer service, nonprofits, and I majored in global affairs at GMU, so I'm great at communication with people of all backgrounds and keeping calm in the face of chaos. Working with kids brings me joy because I get to access my playful side while helping others. During the school year, I am a full time high impact tutor for middle school literacy and I love what I do. I hope to fill my summer with child care jobs.
