About Ashley

I have grown up volunteering at nursing homes my grandmother was a RN at, my mother then started working at nursing homes along with my 2 older sisters, I entered my first nursing home as a receptionist at the age of 20. I took the opportunity of working there to talk with residents and visit their rooms. I worked with my mom at a different nursing home as their dietary aide and head chef, I loved that job because I was able to incorporate meals that I grew up on, and recipes of my family members and share that with the residents. My only real experience with in home was when I was 18 and I stayed a few nights with a family friends mother who was on oxygen and my duties there were mainly helping her in and out of bed, preparing meals, and keeping her company.
