About Ashlyn

Hello, I'm Ashlyn and I've recently relocated to the Davenport area. I'm 34 years old and I've been working with children for over 15 years. Most recently, I was a nanny for a family with 3 children for 6 years. In that position, I cared for children through newborn, infant, toddler, and school-age stages. Prior to that position, I worked in Special Education for 6 years with children and young adults ages 2-26. I have a Bachelor's degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University. When caring for children, I provide encouragement, structure, and guidance, while promoting independence, confidence, and creativity. I understand the importance of creating an environment that is nurturing and secure, but also promotes safety and discipline. I'm looking to begin work in mid September.
