About Ashmita

Hi! My name is Ashmita, and I'm an incoming student pursuing a psychology degree on the pre-medical track. From my responsibilities as the oldest in my family and from looking after my younger family members, I've developed a strong interest in child development and mental health. I have experience in babysitting my younger siblings and cousins-with typical tasks including making them meals, putting them to sleep at nap time, and playing games with them! I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and love creating a positive, engaging environment where they feel comfortable and supported. Whether it's helping with homework or making arts & crafts with them, I always aim to be someone who can help children grow and learn. I am available on Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun evenings and/or mornings! During my free time, I love to read and creatively write! I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family.
