Hi! Thank you for reading my profile. I understand this is an important decision for you. I have a simple approach for giving care - I am away from my elderly parents in Ethiopia, and I ask what kind of care would I want for my parents? I try to give a level of care that I would be happy with if my own parents were receiving it. Over the years, I have learned that this has to do as much with empathy as it does with skill. I am a CNA, and I have 11 years of experience in senior care, and just as importantly, it makes me happy to do my job well. I have worked with many wonderful families, and have made very dear friends in this job. On a personal note, I am married and have two children and I have lived in Northern Virginia over 18 years. I also have a big extended family. We enjoy getting together for family meals and going to church events. Thank you again for reading my profile. I hope we will work together soon.
