About Audrey

In past years I cared for my two of my grandparents as they developed Alzheimer's, this included taking them for drives, cooking meals, companionship, bathing and housekeeping. I'm currently involved with a nursing home ministry where we sing hymns, do short Bible lessons and visit with the clients. I been involved with this ministry for several years. I also go to elderly homes of people from my church for companionship and occasionally bring them meals. I was also a home health aide for a gentleman who was a quadriplegic. I would cook meals, clean the home, do transfers (from wheelchair to bed, etc.), take him on outings, bathing and help with bowl movements. I've been involved with special needs all my life and taught special education for several years from moderate to severe disabilities.
