About Autumn

I have held a variety of positions over the past 10+ years in childcare and education, ranging from nanny to preschool TA to running summer science and cooking camps. The children I have worked with professionally have ranged from 9 months to to 13 years old. I love being able to guide children through new learning experiences, encourage them in their strengths, help them navigate their weaknesses, and develop their skills - intellectual, physical, and emotional. Younger children love the creativity and playfulness I bring. My middle schoolers have loved sharing what they're currently interested in and being met with genuine interest, engagement, and encouragement in all areas. I have worked with pre-k age children to ensure that they enter kindergarten as independent readers and have tutored middle schoolers in math to bring their grades up to an A. I keep up with the most energetic children and can coax the shyest of children out of their shell so their personalities can shine.
