About Ava

I'd describe my personality as caring, thoughtful, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I have a passion for helping children grow and develop. I enjoy hanging around kids and have work experience as a camp counselor, and with kids with learning disabilities through volunteer programs. I'm currently working to pursue a career in pediatric nursing. I started working taking care of neighbors kids ~ age 12. I volunteered at a summer school in highschool for elementary students, and , worked at the placer nature center supervising groups of 8-10 kids. In my spare time, I like to exercise, paint, walk my dog, cook, bake, and hang out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am very reliable . Especially with time management I will always show up when I need to be somewhere. My skills include teaching various subjects including Spanish, compassion, and eagerness to help. I hope to be able to help families and learn for my career.
