About Ava

I'd describe my personality as creative, bubbly, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because I love engaging in their interests and sharing in their joy and wonder about the world around them. I'm looking for a job that has a semi-predictable schedule I started working with kids when I was 14 and I started babysitting my neighbors' kids. In my spare time, I like to make art and do different crafts, garden and tend to my houseplants. One thing you should know about me is I love to support your child's interests and I also enjoy teaching! I taught a farm school program at a summer camp and I really enjoyed getting to open children's eyes to the wonder of nature, animals, and agriculture. My skills include I'm great at being adaptable to the individual temperament and personalities of each child and tailoring my approach accordingly, I'm great at coming up with creative activities to engage kids and I'm not afraid to get silly and really get into imaginative play
