Hi I'm Ava! I'm 28 years old and living in Scituate for the summer. I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a license to teach preK-2nd grade. I also received a minor in art so I love crafts and doing projects with kids! I have worked as a third grade teacher, a before and after school teacher, an English teacher, a camp counselor, and a tutor. I have been working with children of all ages for about 12 years. We hired Ava for a summer when my kids were 7 and 4. It was 2 years ago and my kids still can’t stop talking about her! She was very attentive and interactive with the kids, playing alongside them and had creative ideas to keep them entertained. She was always on time and flexible when needed. If we hadn’t moved last year we would be begging her to come back to us for this summer! Couldn’t recommend her more!
