About Ava

I have had experience working with kids since I was a kid myself! I recently became a mom and am looking for a job I can bring her along I work part time as a hairstylist and love to look at all aspects of life with a creative and imaginative mind. Being an empath, I bring patience, and a calm, warm, and approachable demeanor to my role. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to discus their child's day or any concerns that may arise. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I am very comfortable ensuring a structured and safe environment for the children in my care. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have also completed 2 rounds of coursework on child development in school. I am willing to assist with, cooking, meal prep, carpooling, light housework, swimming supervision, crafts, and also willing to plan and facilitate activities and outings such as, visits to the park, walks/nature exploration, visits to the zoo and or other attractions.
