About Avery

I'm Avery, a 21-year-old Certified Nursing Assistant with specialties in behavioral mediation, disability and memory care. I have 8 years of personal child and disability care experience, and in that time I have obtained 3 years of professional child, geriatric, memory, disability, and hospice care experience. I have my CPR, AED, Basic Life Support Certification, and my Food Handler's Permit. I believe a good rapport is key when it comes to finding the right, helpful, caregiver and always try to experience a good connection with anyone whose path I may cross. I'm looking for a job that is important, for both client(s) and family. Sometimes that may be by making scheduling smoother, completing housekeeping tasks that would have, otherwise, never gotten done, or, simply, by being a friend. I've spent the last 2 years working as a lead and substitute teacher for pre-K and daycares. I can't wait to be able to focus on a smaller group of kids and to have some more fun than when in class!
