About Avery

Hello! I have cared for children from infancy to teens, going on 12 years now. I started with babysitting every weekend in high school, then worked full-time every summer as a nanny, and I now have worked as a full-time nanny and house manager for over three years. I am trained in CPR and First Aid . I have taken several college classes centered around child development and nutrition. I enjoy cooking and teaching children the importance of nutrition while making yummy food with them. I love to have fun while also teaching children new and exciting things! I have a sweet dog and my family helps run a dog rescue, so I'm more than comfortable with pets! I consider myself to be artistic and love doing arts and crafts, having dance parties, and taking the kids to fun places like the park or museums. I find it incredibly rewarding to be a part of a child's life and watch them grow into awesome people! In my free time, I'm either reading, crafting, or on a hike with my pup!
