About Ayanna

I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, and insightful. I like working with kids because it's refreshing being around their constant curiosity. I love to be apart of seeing them create, share, and learn new things and include these qualities in my style of care. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I've had a few babysitting jobs since then, upon leaving Michigan I had to say goodbye to a family I was caring for after 5 years. During the pandemic, I worked at a daycare specifically with toddlers where I assisted teachers with lesson planning, facilitating mealtimes, core learning, and play. In May I graduated from University of Michigan with the a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I just recently moved to Brooklyn in search of a job in an art gallery, however, I'd love to work with kids before I enter the art industry.
