As a well known and beloved figure in the South Slope neighborhood, I regularly babysit for various families, all of whom deeply cherish my service. Most of the kids have been girls, granting me expert experience with them. I could be considered a dream babysitter, as I operate in selfless love, keen safety awareness, and with the goal of always giving the children the best time of their life! Children have begged their parents for me to babysit. I'm always engaged with the child and full of passion to play with them without an ounce of fatigue. I am much-loved for my humor, so don't pick me if you don't want your child to laugh a lot. Taking kids to the park is always a delight. We end up playing with lots of children, as I am known by hundreds of boys and girls in the Park Slope area. Does your child need tutoring? Does your child have emotional or behavioral challenges? Are you concerned about if your child will like me? In all these areas, I have consistently amazed parents!

Mr. A is amazing! We were in need of childcare for August and he made it work with us and our schedule. He is communicative, prompt, and very adaptive to children’s needs. we have a boy and a girl and he would play basketball with our boy but paint and do gymnastics with our girl giving them each the attention they wanted. he always had a fun activity or card game in his bag.  any family is lucky to know him!

We hired Azaziah/Mr.A for few days while we were visiting NY. He is attentive, patient, and great communicator. He was a real life Mary Poppins and brought age-approximate fun(and not overstimulating!) toys and books for our two year old. He looked up where local playgrounds and other play areas that our girl would enjoy and was so patient exploring the city with our little one with no stroller or other tools. 
We would hire him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and loving caregiver. 

My kids had the best time with Azaziah. They loved learning and doing activities with him.  He’s very kind, great with kids and  keeping them engaged. He has a lot of experience working with kids from when my son was in his afterschool program. I highly recommend Azaziah for your childcare needs. 

I cannot say enough amazing things! My daughter is energetic, chatty, intelligent, but also has big emotions and is very attached to me. The first time "Uncle A" cared for her, she immediately took to him over dinner, only to cry big tears once I quietly left. He kept me updated, calmed her down enough to record a video to send to me, and asked me to send one back. They played games, sang songs, and shared pictures all night, to the point where she asked to take photos with him before bed and woke up talking about him.

Since we were travelling, I had several of her favourite books but only a small plastic cook set for toys. The second time he watched her, she had just gone through a traumatic few days at a disorganised preschool and was very emotional. He brought over toys and activities and was prepared for her big feelings and redirected her each time so she always wound up laughing with him. When she woke in the morning, she told me that Uncle A told her that when she opened her eyes, he would be gone, but Mommy would be back. She truly bonded with him 🥰

It is with the utmost confidence and enthusiasm that I write this letter of reference for Azaziah, who has been caring for our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter on weekend mornings over the past several weeks. As a parent, finding someone whom you trust completely with your child is rare, and Azaziah has proven himself to be an exceptional professional in every regard.

From his very first day, Azaziah’s deep sense of responsibility has been exemplary. He approaches his role with a high degree of reliability, allowing our family to start our weekends with complete peace of mind. He possesses a naturally gentle demeanor and is incredibly thoughtful, demonstrating a sophisticated ability to remain highly attuned to our daughter’s emotional and developmental needs.

Among his many strengths, Azaziah has a remarkable capacity to navigate challenging moments. Toddlers at this developmental stage frequently experience low frustration tolerance, and Azaziah handles these instances with superb emotional regulation, patience, and skill. He diffuses distress with ease, reorienting our daughter in a way that respects her feelings while maintaining a secure, structured environment. What truly sets him apart, however, is his authentic affinity for working with children; he connects with them through genuine interest and true authenticity, rather than simply going through the motions of childcare.

Our daughter is absolutely crazy about “Mr. A.” She took to him almost immediately and actively looks forward to his visits every week. In his care, she feels profoundly safe, comfortable, and thoroughly attended to. Furthermore, Azaziah is an excellent and proactive communicator, consistently keeping us informed and aligned on her routines and behavioral milestones.

Azaziah is a childcare provider of the highest caliber. He would be an invaluable asset to any family or program fortunate enough to engage his services. I recommend him without reservation, and I am happy to speak further regarding his qualifications should you require additional information.

Mr. A, as our girls affectionately call him, has been teaching them for a few years now and recently has been working with us to provide 2:1 care during the week.  It’s supplemental after school care that helps them with homework, build confidence and work on fun STEM activities. He’s very organized and on time and is a great communicator.  I know other parents that have worked with him and they feel the same way we do. 

Mr. A is truly extraordinary. He takes the best care of my kids (2 yo and 5 yo) and keeps them happily engaged from the moment he walks in the door until the moment he leaves. He has a gift for getting them talking, asking questions, and exploring their natural curiosity. My son is a delayed talker with limited words.  Mr. A finds ways for him to use his words when they are playing. 

It is such a relief in my home when Mr. A arrives, because I know my children will not only be well cared for, but also stimulated, learning, and laughing. He has become a trusted part of our family routine, and my kids adore him. We feel incredibly fortunate to have him engaging with our children, and I cannot recommend him highly enough to any family looking for someone exceptional.

Azaziah is a rare find - thoughtful, communicative, and always goes the extra mile to ensure your kids are entertained and enjoying their time with him. We are so lucky to have found him!

We love working with Mr A. My girls ages 4 and 7 now met him through a camp/afterschool program and loved the program because of him. We have since worked with him multiple weekends. He brings art activities, outdoor and water play materials as well. This is amazing as my kids are doing different things all day long with little preparation from me. I know they are having a blast and are safe. They ask to play with him more because they have such a great time. I highly recommend. 

Azaziah was amazing! I needed help in a bind with my 3 kids on a holiday and he delivered in a huge way.  He showed up prepared for all of the kids and all 3 of my kids loved him. He has a calm demeanor, but pulls the kids in with fun stories, games, and jokes. My kids asked to have him back, and I agree. Thanks Mr. A.

Azaziah—or Mr A, as we know him—has been taking care of my daughter since she was 5, as one of the key members of staff in a local afterschool program. She is now 9 and she adores him—he is like a big brother or an uncle to her.  We suffered a family tragedy just after we got to know him and we would not have got through it without his quiet, calm, loving presence in our lives. But it is not just my daughter: Azaziah is beloved and a mini-celebrity in out neighborhood, where he has been an important presence in many childrens’  lives.  He is extremely good with children and cares for them and their families with grace and kindess. He’s special and one-of-kind 

Azaziah (Mr. A for those in the know) is beyond amazing! He is so kind, caring, approachable, and definitely fast more important than the parents! My daughter wanted to spend more time with Mr. A than us! He's definitely a rare and wonderful soul, and I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. A is the best. Our daughter tells us often “why do not you go on a date night, Mr. A can come babysit, so we all have fun”. They allways do amazingly creative activities, drawing comic books, doing science experiments, playing games. And he is super patient. Everything is tidy when we come. I could not recommend him more. Such a decent and wonderful person!

We call him Mr. A. My son loves him! He picks him up from school and takes him to the playground to work on his social skills. He teaches him stuff and it's never boring with Mr. A. Always on call and helpful. I can't recommend him enough! 

Azaziah, or Mr. A as most children know, him is a very caring, playful, creative and imaginative babysitter and caretaker for children. Our daughter (6) is always super excited when he is babysitting and she is excited many days in advance. he is her favorite babysitter for sure. Mr. A is very interactive and always brings activities and ideas for Entertainment but he also very good at going along with the children’s imagination. He comes highly recommended 

My daughter has been under Azaziah's (or Mr. A as we call him) afterschool care for almost 4 years. She absolutely adored him. He is fun, passionate about children education and reliable. I couldn't ask for a better person to care for my child.
