About Barbara

Supporting seniors' independence and well-being has been a passion of mine for many years. I currently work as a private aviation flight attendant and am seeking part-time or as-needed companion opportunities on my days off. My primary passengers are 93 and 86, so I am very comfortable assisting older adults and anticipating their individual needs. My experience is also personal. I helped care for my grandmother who had Alzheimer's, and my grandfather lived to 103. I also provided companionship and assistance to a client for five years until he passed away at 95 and became a dear friend. I am patient, dependable, compassionate, and calm under pressure. I hold a college degree and current CPR/First Aid certifications. I can assist with companionship, meal preparation, errands, transportation and appointments. I believe in treating every senior with the kindness, dignity and respect I would want for my own family.
