About Barbara

I am a fun-loving, warm and compassionate woman with more than 30 years experience of working closely with seniors and their loved ones. As a retired executive director of New Bridge on the Charles' assisted living community in Dedham, I have a true passion and understanding of what it takes to care for and support elders and their families- with an expertise in Alzheimer's and dementia. I'm looking to provide companionship to seniors in and/or out of their home or other living environment. I'm available to accompany to medical and beauty appointments, cook, do light housekeeping, laundry, read, pay bills and most importantly provide support and friendship. I have great references, am very flexible and have my own car. Hourly rate may be negotiable for the right fit.
