It's always a joy to meet new friends. My name is Barkev and I am looking to expand my work schedule for the summer. I have been working with a family of incredible boys who are like little brothers to me for the past 3 years. I've also cared for families outside of this website through recommendations. This journey started from a lack of fulfillment I had in my work options as an asthmatic during the pandemic. My wife Vivian motivated me to give it a shot, as I am a known child at heart and have always been great with children. It has been the most spiritually fulfilling work of my life. This goes back to my volunteer days leading boy scouts in the Armenian community. I am a fluent Armenian and English speaker. I have received overwhelming praise from parents in my ever-growing ability to manage stressful situations, adjust to any sudden schedule shifts, always arriving prepared and on time. I attended Berklee College of Music and will teach music *free* so please ask kindly!

The reason Barkev doesn't have any reviews yet is because he has been working for us full time since we hired him in August 2021. He is our regular after-school sitter, picking up our kids after school. He helps manage all of the after school activities, including making sure homework gets done, shuttling to and from sports and activities, and making sure our kids are entertained when they have down time. He is more than happy to play soccer and other games outside, but will also play board games and do other activities with them in the house as well. The favorite hour of the week for our boys is perhaps when they get to play their hour of video games with Barkev on Friday afternoon. Barkev is totally dependable, punctual and communicative. In terms of his most important critics - our two boys - they adore him and say he is "nice," "kind," and "fun." We will continue to have Barkev as a part of our family, but are happy if he is able to find some other families for his free hours.
