About Beonka

Hi my name is Beonka, I have worked as a direct support professional taking care of clients ages 30-75. I assisted them in personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, passing medications, & even took them to their appointments & outings. I enjoy spending time with my clients engaging in activities they enjoy. I love building a relationship with my clients & putting a smile on their face, it's the most rewarding feeling! I was CPR certified in 2019 I as well. I have worked in group homes with up to as many as 5 people. I have worked with people in push wheelchairs, self driving wheelchairs, people who are sit to stand, & have used lifts similar to a hoyer. At my previous employer I followed specific dietary guidelines, documented calories, monitored blood pressure, applied T. E. D stockings & afo braces & wraps & so much more!
