Hi, I'm Berni! I am 26 years old and live in Virginia Beach. I have a variety of experience in caregiving. -I helped care for children of friends and family since I was young. -I have been babysitting since middle school, and caring for the pets of some of those families. -I worked at a summer camp throughout high school, which included working one-on-one with a child with a disability. -I volunteered at a program for adolescents with a variety of disabilities. -I worked in a doctors office for 5 years. -I regularly provided personal care for my grandparents, including my grandmother with dementia and both my grandfathers who each had various medical conditions. -I am a pet parent, a foster volunteer for local animal shelters and I work as a supervisor in a vet clinic.
