About Bethanie

Learning is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding students along the way. For the past three years, I've enjoyed helping students in elementary and middle school reach their full potential in Math, English, History, and develop strong Study Skills. I have SOME COLLEGE education. My focus is on building confidence and fostering a love for learning in an engaging, supportive, and patient environment. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to adapt my teaching methods. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I am comfortable with pets and am CPR and First Aid trained. I am available to tutor at the student's home, online, a library, or a coffee shop. I speak English and French.
