About Bethany

Hello, my name is Bethany and I am married with two children of my own ages 18 and 15. I have worked with children for more than 20 years in different capacities from babies to 6th grade. I consider myself a kind, helpful and motivated person. I have taught Sunday school to kindergartners for 16 years, I have taught Vacation Bible School for 10 plus years for different ages from babies to 5th grade, I have taught preschool summer camps and I have been a volunteer cheerleading coach 10 to 12-year-old girls. I taught 3K preschool for 13 years at a church in Hoover. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a degree in Sports Fitness Management and am CPR/First Aid certified. I am currently a nanny to a little one that I have kept since he was 3 months old. Bethany (Joy) is AMAZING! She knows exactly how to take care of children. She is caring and patient and goes the extra mile by bringing special games and crafts for the kids and by helping tidy things up. My kids love her! She has truly been a Godsend during this crazy quarantine as I have made the transition to working from home. I highly recommend her.
