Most of my experience with seniors is in caring for my mother as she began to have issues with dementia. I did have one client who I took to doctor's appointments. Most of my experiences as a caregiver are with children and families as I was a teacher for 29 years before taking an early retirement and, more recently, became a nanny. However, my interests have shifted, and I would now like to assist people on the other side of the journey. I am happy to provide companionship and take care of light housekeeping, meal preparation, medicine management, errands, and the like, but prefer not to perform any hands-on care. I have an excellent work ethic as previous employers will confirm.
