The long illness of my late husband helped me realize that my true calling was in caring and helping someone afflicted with an illness or a limitation. When he died, I registered for a Patient Care Technician course which I am currently taking. In my free time, I have cared for elder relatives of my friends when they are sick or just when they needed a companion. In this way, I have made friends with most of them. It is a gratifying experience for both of us.
