About Betty

I'm committed to education and strong character development in children and young people. I enjoy cultural development such as art, music and Museums. Arts and crafts, gardening and ballroom dancing are activities I enjoy as well as writing. I recently published my third non fiction book this year and in the process of embarking on my foiurth. After completing my primary career as a Community College counselor/professor and academic advisor, I started a new career in Early Childhood and Special Education which landed me a seven year position in the Lansing School Michigan District as a Pre-K teacher. I also worked in Special Education, Literacy and Steam. I am currentiy employed as a GED INSTRUCTOR for the GA Department of Juvenile Justice which will transition me into retirement in the very near future. At that juncture, I will pursue my tutoring career on a full time basis.
