When I joined Care.com, I was looking for a person with an extensive background and experience. Betty is a thoroughly experienced caregiver. I needed someone to help take care of my husband while I attended to my yearly scheduled doctor and dentist visits. My husband is wheelchair bound and has PD and kidney cancer. I am a healthcare professional so I will tell you my naive thinking that was no one can take care of my husband better than me. Truth is, I was totally wrong. It was hard to let go but I knew I needed to take care of me so I can continue to take care of my husband. Betty made me feel comfortable the first time I texted her a message. She is a thoroughly experienced caregiver with years of practice behind her. She is both compassionate and reliable. More than that I felt completely comfortable to leave my husband in such wonderful and more than capable hands. We are truly blessed to have Betty in our lives and we are so happy we found her on Care.com.
