I have cared for others for most of my life. When my father had Alzheimer's up until the end of his life, I was a caregiver. When my grandmother had COPD up until the end of her life, I was a caregiver. These experiences strengthened my caregiving skills and traits, in addition to my already patient and empathetic disposition.
