About Brenda

Hello. My name is Brenda and as a recently retired teacher, I am looking for a new adventure. As an extroverted person, I get my energy from being around other people. I feel my skills as a teacher-organization, patience, timeliness and creativity-can work to my advantage in taking care of others. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, organized and patient. Caring for others gives me an opportunity to pay it forward. My experience started when my own parents started aging. My dad had Multiple Myeloma, my mom has beat Con Cancer and my Mother in Law had Alzheimer's for 15 years before passing in 2024. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors in nature, take walks and hikes and work in the yard. I also love to cook and read. My skills include organization- keeping to timelines and an orderly environment. I am patient and a good listener. I am also a great cook and can take proper nutrition into consideration when shopping and preparing g healthy meals.
