About Brianna

I have been a babysitter for over six years and also have experience working in day camps and child care centers. Because I have worked for a wide range of people and environments, I have taken care of children whose ages range from 5 months- 10 years old. Through working in day camps I have learned how to keep a large group of children busy and organized throughout the day. I have also worked with 2-4 siblings at a time whose ages range from 2 years old-9 years old. Through my current job, I teach swim lessons to typically developing children and children with Down syndrome, Autism, and other disabilities. This experience has improved my ability to create stimulating and goal-oriented lessons for the individual child and has also improved my ability to make changes and improvise quickly. These skills are transferred to child care by allowing me to provide a fun and interesting environment for the children I am caring for and has prepared me for unexpected challenges.
