About Brianne

My name is Brianne, and I am a second year master's student at Teachers College, Columbia University. I have had a great deal of experience serving as a part-time caregiver, as well as a teacher assistant, tutor, and mentor in public and non-public elementary and middle schools, working on education-related research initiatives, as well as partaking in advocacy projects for special needs populations. I have also served as a gymnastics instructor and therapeutic horseback riding assistant, as well as held leadership roles in organizations that promote educational development. From my pediatric experiences, I have enhanced and augmented my skill repertoire in the domains of curricular design and implementation, as well as formulating academic and play-based activities that meet each child's individualized needs. I am a big believer that children teach us as much as we teach them!
