About Brittany

Hi there! I have over 10 years experience working with children of various ages. I believe wholeheartedly in developmentally appropriate practices. I believe that modeling kindness and pro-social behaviors, honoring individual temperaments and personalities is the key to working with little ones. I have worked as a teacher assistant in nonpublic schools, so have experience helping children manage emotional difficulties, listening, counseling and mentoring. I also worked as a one-on-one for students with physical disabilities and autism. I have experience as a nanny, validating emotions and helping siblings get along with one another, engaging in and supervising activities. I respect diverse family values and needs, and will do whatever is essential in helping your unique family! I am warm and easygoing in nature, and look forward to working with your family.
