About Brittany

Hi, my name is Brittany! To start, I have 3 little ones of my own, 2, 5, and 7! I have been a Direct Support Professional for 2+ yrs for young adults/elders with intellectual/physical disabilities, along with mental disorders. I have 7+ years experience in providing nurturing care in children of all ages, with a patient and gentle approach! Childhood development has always been a passion for me. I believe in using a Montessori approach in learning, and love engaging in the outdoors, and helping them grow and learn through their surroundings and play. I love to implement crafts, music, reading and real world skills through being hands-on! My goal is to foster a safe and fun environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. As well as promoting independence and confidence, while setting safe boundaries. I am First Aid/CPR certified, MANDT Certified, as well as a Certified Medication Technician in the State of Maryland.
