About Brittany

A little about me: I connect well with children and am very patient and compassionate. I have a background in nursing, love cleaning & love animals! I like to think of myself as a natural caregiver. I enjoy making connections and being able to use my skills to help out in anyway that I can. I've always had a knack for getting along well with the little humans and just understanding and clicking with them. I'm currently with a family of 5 children, ages 1-18 years old. 3 out the 5 children have Down syndrome and autism, and before this position I spent years working with another family of 3 as well. Name an ADL, school event, leisure activity or appointment and I have probably have some sort of experience. I like to joke and say I'm overprepared for when I have my own children, but can you ever be overprepared for kids? Lol I have also been lucky enough to be apart of the kids separate occupation and physical therapies which have also built on my knowledge.
