About Brittany

My name is Brittany and I recently graduated from OSU with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and excelled in the program. I am a naturally compassionate, fun and easy going person. Having majored in psychology, I am drawn to caring for children's emotional needs. I am inquisitive and self-motivated to learn, and enjoy fostering that characteristic in others, especially children. Since I was 13, I have cared for the children of family friends, co-workers, and neighbors sporadically. I have also stepped in for the childcare program at my church when it was needed. I have worked with a sweet young boy through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program who had ADHD, and through that experience learned to tailor my responses to his individual needs. I feel this is a necessary quality for relating to children. I enjoy reading about child development and ways to enrich children's lives, including educational philosophies. I would love the opportunity to use what I have learned and to do what I am passionate about full time!
