About Brooke

My interest in babies started early as a babysitter. I graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Early Childhood in 1997. During my college summers I oversaw the preschool camp for the Deerfield Park District. Following graduation I worked in a Kindergarten at Sprague School in Lincolnshire for one year. I then got married and moved to Australia for 2. 5 years for my husbands job. I nannied for 3 families over 2 years there, until my daughter was born. In the spring of 2001 we moved back to the US and I have spent the last 24+ years staying home raising my children (now 24, 21, and 18). Now that my last child is headed off to College I have started part time work, during day time hours 2-3 days a week (and the occasional date night etc). I have always loved being with young children, and my education coupled with years of being a nanny and raising my own children has provided me with a vast amount of experience and knowledge.
